Tow run after conversion?
Hi all;
I have a 36v 91 cc ds that was v glide resister coils and did the C64 upgrade with the admiral MOT-A1 motor and SR48600 controller to 48v from Scotty at carts unlimited. My question is there was no tow mode switch from factory so now with the conversation to solid state drive and the upgrades, if it had to be towed what would happen? Would anything be damaged since there is still no switch? and is there anything I should do if I should ever have to tow it ? Thanks for any help |

Re: Tow run after conversion?
Series carts don’t have regen so no tow switch is needed.
Good call on the A1. I had one in a 2002 48v DS and that cart was a beast. It would nearly lift the 25” tires off the ground and do around 30mph on flat ground. |

Re: Tow run after conversion?
I believe they were crown batteries. I can’t remember for sure but I’m 99%. I’ve gone through a lot of golf carts
It was this one. It was real rough when I got it, cheesy camo spray paint job on the body and the roof, etc. didn’t run when I got it either but it was a beast when it was done |

Re: Tow run after conversion?
Also just to note, use common sense. Don’t tow the cart any faster than it would drive by itself as a general rule of thumb. If you flat tow a cart at 50mph bad things are gonna happen

Post up an intro or add some pics in the Member's Rides...I'm sure other folks would like to see the transformation of your cart.

Re: Tow run after conversion?
Unfortunately my old phone had the only pictures of it when I bought it for $350
4 years ago. It fell in the water when I was dragging a buck I got across a stream in hunting season 2 years ago. |
