G2E electrical circuit test?
I'm spent the day working on my "new" electric G2 and think I am about ready to go. The only problem is that I don't have the batteries yet. A couple of days ago I used 3 - 12v batteries and bypassed all the switches just to make sure the motor worked, it did. Now I don't have access to the three batteries so I was wondering if there is any way to use and ohm meter to test to see if the circuit is complete from start to finish. I guess what I mean is, are there two points that I can put the leads, then depress the accelerator to see if the circuit is complete. I just want to see if there is anything I may need to check into before I have a chance to get the batteries. It will be a couple weeks before I get someplace that has 6v batteries.
Also, one other part I don't have is the key switch. Does the key switch just complete an open circuit? Is it possible to jump across at the plug to bypass the key switch? Thanks in advance. |
