G19E Need help - Intermittent Run
Working on a G19E, never really worked on a Yamaha other than to replace batteries. The situation is that it is an intermittent run condition.
Sometimes the solenoid clicks some times it does not. When it clicks she runs with out a problem. Moving to Tow and back to run some times works sometimes does not, but it's not the tow run switch as I've tested it. Sometimes when moving to Run the solenoid clicks but then after a few minutes unclicks and breaks connection. A couple of questions. I notice no resistor or diode on the solenoid, is this normal for a yamaha? Second, how is this suppose to work, does the solenoid on these stay engaged all the time that the tow run switch is in run? I would appreciate any help you can give. |
