Default G8 yamaha no go

Hi I have a G8 electric yamaha cart it had been running good and the next
day it woud not go at all it will not click on the silenoid tried tried testing the sileniod both sides are reading ok 36v what esle can I do thanks.

Might try this, on your car's dc charger receptical, there is a little white push button. It's called a "charge lock", meaning the car is dead if the charger is still plugged in. Lube the receptical with WD-40 and push the button in several times. It could just be stuck. I always try that first. Cross your fingers

Thanks smallblock it was pushed in at least the sileniod is clicking know but still no go checked motor manually and it ran

Try the microswitch under the FNR switch, my neighbor has a G8 and if I mess with that microswitch it works, otherwise does as you describe with solenoid clicking. Also underneath your "gas" pedal there is a switch, make sure it is working properly or it will prevent you from going in forward or reverse. Hope this helps.

Thanks alot man saved me alot of money I thought I was going to have to buy a controler, it was indeed the switch on the botton of FNR has three
prongs on it, had it connected to the middle instead of the end one Thank you very much jwhranger. Do not Know how it got unpluged Ready to play again Just donated some money to this site this site is great.
