Default Water in batteries

Was wondering what kind of water you use to fill your batteries up? Straight out of the tap, rain water ect...

Distilled water. The manufactures recommend distilled water due to it's mineral purity. Heavy minerals sometimes present in tap water can adversely effect the chemical reaction in the batteries reducing their useful life.
