Default EZGO Lights Wiring

'98 EZGO TXT Gas 4 Pass

Looking for a little help in the final bit of wiring for a couple accessories. Installing Turn Signal, Brake Lights, Horn, Alarm w/remote kill switch and LED Under body lighting.

EZGO Harness(H) 72228-G01 shows:
RED(H)from 15A Fuse block to BLK at 2 Prong Flasher
YEL from Turn Signal to 2 Prong Flasher
RED(H)from 15A Fuse block to RED at Brake Switch o-- C
BRN(H) to BLK at Brake Switch o NO
BRN(H) to the Turn Signal (Does not show to what color wire)
BRN(H) to both tail lights but doesn't show to what color wire.
EZGO Service Parts Manual for Tail lights(TL) shows:
WHT(TL) to BLK(H) - Both sides
BLK(TL) to BLU/WHT(H) - Both sides
RED(TL) to WHT(H) - Driver Side
RED(TL) to YEL(H) - Passenger side
RED(TL) to BRN(H) - (W/O Turn Signals)
Turn Signal(TS) Diagram shows:
BLU(TS) to WHT(3 Prong Flasher)
BLK(TS) to BLK(3 Prong Flasher)
+12v Supply to RED(3 Prong Flasher) w/Fuse
ORG(TS) to Brake & Turn - Driver side
BRN(TS) to Brake & Turn - Passenger side
RED(TS) to Brake Light Switch o--
+12v Supply for brakes to Brake Light Switch o
I took a 9 pin connector and made it so the wires from the Turn Signal can connect at the base of the steering column to the harness wires for a clean look. The way I see it:
BLU(TS) to WHT(Flasher)
YEL(TS) to GRN(Left Front Turn)
WHT/BLK(TS) to BLK(H)
GRN(TS) to DRK GRN(Right front turn)
ORG(TS) to WHT(Left Rear Turn)
BLK(TS) to BLK(Flasher)
WHT(TS) to Frame Ground
BRN(TS) to YEL(Right Rear Turn)
My confusion is if I connect the remaining wires the way both diagrams show, will it be connected correctly:
+12v Supply for brakes to Brake Switch o
RED(TS) to Brake Switch o--
RED(H) from 15A Fuse block to Brake Switch o-- C
BRN(H) to Brake Switch o NO
Where do I connect the other two ends of the BRN(H) that end at the turn signal and tail lights?

Thank you in advance

My brain hurts after reading this diagram but... If I understand the question, you want to know how the brake light circuit works ? If so, you will need power to the brake switch, out of that should connect to a "brake input" wire on the turn signal unit. When this has power, it will send power to the right and left brake circuit depending on how the flasher is oriented.

Also, there is a diagram here that may be close http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...turn-sigs.html

kgsc -
That is the Turn Signal(TS) Diagram I have.
ORG(TS) to (WHT) Brake/Turn Driver Side.
BRN(TS) to (YEL) Brake/Turn Passenger Side.
But within the EZGO wire harness along with the WHT & YEL is a brown(BRN) wire. This BRN wire Per the EZGO Wire Harness Diagram ends at 3 locations. 1) Each Tail light (where the WHT & YEL connect to the RED of the Tail light. 2) The Turn Signal connector (see above) & 3) The Brake Switch o NO.
The EZGO Parts manual shows these same wires but states RED(tail light) to BRN(H) - (W/O Turn Signals)
Is this saying not to connect the RED to the BRN since I have a turn signal?
If I don't connect the BRN at the tail light, should I not connect it at the other 2 locations and just let it hang free?

Brown in the trailer lighting world is the 12 + for running lights. However in this case, the brn coming from the TS unit goes the brake light wire on the pass side. It sounds like the harness you got is assuming no turn signals if it makes the two brake lights common.
