Club Car Precedent pedal play

I recently upgraded my 2008 Club Car with 4” lift kit. More recently, converted rear drums to mechanical disc brakes. In the process, had to swap out driver-side brake cable with a longer passenger side cable.
Now, the under floor mat rod adjustment is maxed out, and the brake pedal play is still all the way to the floor.
Is there other adjustments I can make to reduce amount of play in the brake pedal?

Well, I ended up fixing this issue by adding spacers to the equalizer bolt. This takes up the slack, and provides for enough adjustment to reduce the play in the brake pedal without the disc brakes rubbing.

Even after adding about 1” in spacers, the pedal play is still extremely soft and maxed out on adjustment. Ideas?

What disc brakes did you install?
Mechanical brakes always have some sort of adjustment.

Ausco mechanical disc brakes, but there isn’t an adjustment other than the equalizer cable/bar system.
