Default 2014 EZGO TXT 48v - Speed controller programming

This is my first post and I didn't want to hijack anyone else's post - is anyone still offering to re-program a speed controller to increase the speed of my cart from 12-13 mph?

I'm in the same boat you are! 2013 S4, all stock, and goes 19 mph and another cart TXT48 that goes about the same as yours. I think you need to contact usgicollector and it's Bob Boyce that does the reprogramming. You send it to him and he sends it back.

12-13 is fleet speed. With freedom mode and a few changes up to 19.5 on stock tires. Where are you located?

I'm located in TX and am interested in getting a reprogram on both carts.

If you can't find someone I'll be back in Punta Gorda at the end of September. I can speed it up then if you want.

That would be fantastic. I would be interested in setting that up when you know your schedule.

So, I have the same exact cart, and when I reached out to usgicollector, he said the best I could do would be freedom mode, and I'd have to go to a dealer.... all the local dealers I reached out to basically told me to buzz off.

I'd really love to get a little more speed out of this thing.... any thoughts? What replacement controllers should I be looking at, and what should I expect, speed wise?

With stock tires and cart in Freedom mode you're looking at 19.5mph. I never seen a dealer turn down putting a cart in Freedom mode. That's pretty fast money for them.

To take a controller out ship it to someone and they get you one or two more mph to me isn't practical. Shipping cost and the charge to speed the controller up just isn't worth the money. There just not much you can do to speed it up more than putting it in Freedom mode. I always recommend a TXT owner to just take their cart to a dealer to have them put it in Freedom mode.

Now an RXV is a whole different story they can be made to go a lot faster with some changes in the parameters. Shipping your RXV controller out is a good idea if you send it to the right person.
