Default 1999 EZGO DCS new Alltrax XCT-400 controller & 200a solenoid

Hey guys I have a 1999 EZGO DCS 36v cart that wouldn't go forward but went in reverse. I did a bunch of testing and concluded the controller was bad. Bought a new Alltrax XCT-48400-DCS controller with 200amp solenoid and installed. The cart now goes forward and reverse. However if I go up a incline (like the driveway) it slows and jams up like someone threw on the brake. It runs quick on flat ground. Is it a torque setting? Or a regen brake setting? I have attached some screen shots from the Alltrax toolkit software. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Are you still on the throttle when it stops moving up the driveway?

Also if it were me I'd change your plug braking setting. You have the max regen battery amps to 64 amps and your plug braking to 250 amps. The regen battery amps will affect your regen braking while your cart has enough kinetic energy to charge the battery. Once your cart starts moving slow enough to no longer be able to effectively charge your battery pack it switches to plug braking. Basically a direct short.

For my cart I set the regen amps to 87 (if I remember correctly) but I set the plug braking to 30. This way the cart will slow down with regen and charge the batteries until you get to a fast walking speed. After that the slowing is diminished as you slowly drop to 0mph.
