Default No Start

My 2005 G22 gas Yamaha golf cart was working, now Nothing. I have checked the Ignition at the key, I have power coming and going - I've checked the micro switch at the F/R it is working but no reverse buzzer sound - the battery is showing 12.9v - at the coil I have 12.7v going to the big red wire - at the coils little red wire I have 11.9v when I step on the gas peddle - the fuse is good - head lights work, blinkers work, brake lights work.

Need help where to look next... please

Do you get power on the big lug on the solenoid going to the starter when you depress the pedal? Have you tried 'jumping' the solenoid?

okay I tested the starter and I have no power to it. I jumped the solenoid and I get the clicking and the cart wants to run. Bad solenoid?

I disconnected the 2 big wires on the solenoid and put my voltmeter on the 2 big terminals and have my voltmeter set to ohms also the F/R in neutral and the key off. No reading on the voltmeter.
Then I put the F/R in forward, turn the key on, set my voltmeter to DCv put the probes on the small terminals and depressed the accelerator and also have no reading.
No clicking from the solenoid on both test.
Good or bad solenoid?

Is the ignition relay the same relay as the engine stop relay on a 2005 Yamaha g22 gas golf cart

Sounds like you aren't getting power to the solenoid. Pedal switch would be the likely culprit.

I had that thought too, but when I put my prob on the small red terminal and press the accelerator pedal I get 12.4v.

Trace the wire from the pedal switch, make sure it has 12v at the other end.

Silly question... have you checked the 10A fuse? If it is blown you won't have ground to make the solenoid click or operate. It will also kill ground to the reverse beeper which you said isnt working either.

If the solenoid is getting 12v when you press the pedal, then everything in front of it is working (pedal switch, key, etc). But it cant work if you have no ground on the other little terminal.

The ignition kill relay is different than the solenoid, but it kills spark. It's not going to make the solenoid not click or work. You're missing ground on the solenoid, either from a bad ground or a blown 10A fuse.
