Speedy Precedent!!
Had an 05 Precedent here that a guy asked me to try to speed up for him. I tried the zip ties on a 97 DS once, so thought I'd try something with the Precedent.
Put a tach on the engine and found it to be around 2550-2600 RPM in maintenance mode. Popped the rear cover in the bagwell off and the "zip-tie spring" is right there! Put a couple through the spring 180 degrees from each other and tightened them up a click at a time until it was at about 3550 RPM and put cover back on. Works really nice and was so simple. If I ever take up golfing, this will be by first move if I had a Precedent. BLES |
