I have a 2008 club car ds. when I set the parking brake I have to pull the accelerator pedal back for it to lock. How do I fix this?

Re: Parking brake on Ds
The accelerator blocks are worn. Replace both of them and replace the pivot rod running through them. The accelerator blocks are the small pieces of aluminum bolted to the driver's side I-Beam that holds the pedal linkage in place. Part number 1011694. The pivot rod is part number 102026001
