Looking at the flywheel wheel..it turns clockwise. The spark plug has no spark at all.

Re: 96 club car won't fire.
I'll take a gander that your standing on the passenger side of the cart looking at the drive clutch,
If so... its a late 96 clockwise engine! But... just for the heck of it, can you post the first part of your serial number? (Example... FG9645 -xxxxxx) Could you get a little more detailed on a few things? did you replace your key switch? (Is that what you meant by "ignition"?) and when you replaced the coil, (under the engine shroud... lots of disassembly) did you go back and confirm that you plugged the coil wire into the banana plug at the rev limiter? |

Re: 96 club car won't fire.
No... The serial number of the cart, not the engine!
There should be a bar code tag under the passenger glove box at the top of the floor board, it should look something like this: Serial Number 2nd location 005.jpg |

Re: 96 club car won't fire.
#20 (upper right) is the coil,
#22 (lower left) is the rev limiter. Does any of this look familiar to you? |

Re: 96 club car won't fire.
I tried to help Brooks... I really tried!
But since you have difficulties providing information so we can help, I have one other suggestion.... Take your cart to a local, reputable golf cart shop, spend the money, and have THEM fix it! I'm out... good luck! |
