They coexist. Depends of which phonetic alphabet you use, there are a dozen or more currently in use.

Granted, India is more commonly used than Indigo, but so is Ida, Item, Ivan and Italy.

For several years post-WWII RAF used: Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, Echo, Foxtrot, Golf, Hotel, Indigo, Juliet, Kilo, Lima, Mike, November, Oscar, Papa, Quebec, Romeo, Sierra, Tango, Uniform,Victor,Whiskey, Xray, Yankee, Zulu

I used it while attached to the US Embassy in Paris during the mid-60's and while stationed at RAF Chicksands in the late 60's and early 70's.

depends on the phonetic alphabet your looking at......even the different branches of the service use slightly different ones as Johnnie has mentioned.

And more/better batteries, a giant huge controller, a crazy motor, posi for sure , real slick wheels & tires, forget the paintjob, its just gonna get "desert pinstriped" anyway. As always, "if you got the time, you aint got the money, if you got the money, you aint got the time".
