Alltrax 48xxx Controller
Alltrax manual talks about 3 different user settings but does not show how to access and use them. Does anyone know how and what connector pins are used to change them.
I assume these are like Curtis mode feature. |

Re: Alltrax 48xxx Controller
Have not bought it yet. It will be either XCT48400 IQ or XCT48500 IQ. If I can't use the modes I may not buy one.

Re: Alltrax 48xxx Controller
The Alltrax XCTs use the Toolkit software. I would assume the settings are in there. And the cable needed is a common USB A to B.

Re: Alltrax 48xxx Controller
Alltrax has not provided any way to switch "modes" using any external switches or devices at this point.
When they do it will likely be based on a can-bus interface instead of an inexpensive toggle switch. The Curtis 1268 controller provides a true way of switching "User Modes" programmed in the unit using an inexpensive on/off switch. The MadJax torque controllers when paired with the OTF console device allows You to adjust the mode on the fly and lock it with a mechanical key so it cannot be tampered. |

Re: Alltrax 48xxx Controller
You have to switch the user settings with your PC or laptop hooked up through USB.

Re: Alltrax 48xxx Controller
The Alltrax manuals leads me to believe I can have a mode for Golf and one for Highway(20MPH). That's fine if the cart is only going to be used for either of those. It would be nice to have the Highway mode to get to the course then use the Golf mode when I get there(without plugging in a computer). I asked Alltrax and there answer was with a Club Car there are not enough pins. That led me to believe some makes would be able to do it but that apparently is not true.

Re: Alltrax 48xxx Controller
I am going to get the Alltrax XCT48400IQ with a fan. If anyone is interested in the controller I am taking off, it is Alltrax DCX500IQ, let me know. In fact I will have two of them, make an offer.
