Re: Well water in a battery?
Thanks for the replies, guys. My original intention was to use only distilled water, and had a quart of it from the hospital, and was going to buy a gallon at Walmart. I will go ahead and get one now to have for later use, it probably is fine now, I just wanted to run this past some here. My lovely wife LOVES her golf cart [ her second ] and we ride country dirt roads several times a week, as we live rural. She has the ''All American Hunting Buggy'', we rode past the dealer on Saturday and she saw it and had a fit over it--- I went and got it on Monday and surprised her when she got home from her office.
E.T.A.---I/we have a Kawasaki Teryx LE 800 SXS also and the Buggy saves us a lot of gas money, without any engine heat in your lap in hot Ms summers. |

Worked at a couple different golf courses while in high school. Not only did we use city water out of the hose, we also overfilled the batteries on occasion. But like was mentioned above, those carts were turned over every 2 years. My local course keeps their carts for 4 years for budget reasons, and during that 4th year, some of the carts have trouble making it more than 9 holes. And this is a pretty flat golf course.
