Default Light Options Club Car DS

Hello,

I have an 04 DS and I'm having the entire thing coated in LineX Ultra to update and strengthen the finish.

Since I've got everything torn apart, I'm wondering what else I should do to the cart? Specifically, are there upgrades to the factory halogen lights? I know there are LED's, but my understanding is that they don't perfectly fit the same opening as the factory housing. Any thoughts?

I read something about a "lifetime LED" but can't really find links.

Anything else you think I should do while the body is off? I don't want a lift, and I've already upgraded the motor and flip flop seat...

Thank you for your input

If I were you I'd check the state of all your bushings, shocks and springs and check for frame/battery tray corrosion due to acid. Now would be the time to correct that while you body is off.

Thanks... the hesitation I have is that the ebay ad specifically says that it won't fit if there are factory holes already cut...

Thast's a good idea. I just don't want to have to take th eflip-flop seat off again, body was easy. This is what I'm working with:

I bought a madjax led kit and used a heat gun to slowly remold the housings to cover up my factory cut outs. You just dont want to heat to much or you coukd melt the plastic

the led are rated "lifetime" as they last 50.000+ hours

If you have the factory bezels and lenses, why not just replace the halogen bulb with an led bulb?
