I'm sorry to hear that - I do not know a way to save the FNKS settings to file and load later. That's not to say there is not a way. Email Alltrax tech support with this question and let us know what you find. Get Well

You may need the China based wireless interface being developed by Cruise-master-sushi..... He's testing his between home sites and work sites...

You may need wheels on that bed.

Already thinking about how I can move the cart outside bedroom so I can use my 20' USB cable. Wheels on the bed will definitely help!

BTW Alltrax said it is not possible to edit the files directly.

Wireless USB? Maybe I could add wirelss access point to the cart and use an Ethernet to USB adapter. I might be able to link up the wifi BMS too. A rolling wifi hot spot that automatically links to my ranch network! Who said this wasn't an addiction?

So, using scottyb's baseline numbers as a guide, I ended up with this;

Mode 1 (feels about 20% more speed and torque than stock code 3)
350 Armature
Regen 25-50 Armature
RPM 3000-3500
Reverse 50%
Throttle 30-40%
Turf/Normal

Mode 2 (feels about 40% more speed and torque than stock code 3)
400 Armature
Regen 25-50 Armature
RPM 4500-5500
Reverse 50%
Throttle 40-50%
Turf/Turbo

Mode 3 (Holy Mother of Christ! Spins the tires and spills the drinks from the cup holders!)
450 Armature
Regen 0
RPM 4500-6200
Reverse 50%
Throttle 50-60%
Street/Turbo

I'm not sure what the RPM and Regen ranges really mean nor do I understand the interaction between Armature and Battery settings but this is good for now. It has to be. My wife almost caught me testing when I should be in bed!

Well that's what you asked for

I really believe 3 things are going to make either lithium or something similar the battery of the future for these carts. Just look at the performance here on a stock motor. Some of the reasons for big boost is:

A. the weight savings - This cart just shed up to 300 pounds. In the power to weight ratio that is a whopping 40% or like your fat *** loosing 80 pounds.
B. Higher sustain voltage - voltage is KING where performance is concerned.
C. Quicker delivery. Lithium can dump more amperage faster than lead acid. Like foot racing Grandma against her grand kids.
D. Self discharge is almost nothing - that's just a bonus.

Congrats on the build.

The FLA pack weighs about 425 and the Lithium pack is less than 65 so
the weight savings was closer to 350lbs! That is roughly like adding 2HP!

Voltage drop while driving hard is less than 2v. Acceleration is phenomenal but I will not be happy until I have a new, more powerful motor. Scotty? Suggestions?
