Default 1996 Club Car DS Project

I just wanted to stop by and drop some pictures of my first cart and current project. It is 1996 Club Car DS 36v. I got it from my neighbor that burnt out the V-glide. I gave him 350 for it. I ordered the new V-glide unit and decided to tear it down to make her like new again. While the cart was complete there was quite a few things Jerry rigged and quite a few of the cables where a bit worn out. So currently I have a new Charge port and Fwd -Rev switch on order. I also plan to put a 6 inch GTW lift on it as well. I am really excited to get this thing together and looking forward to using it this hunting season.

With everything torn out, you should have just gone and made it solid state 48 v.
That is an awesome starting point you have there.
Good luck and Welcome to BGW!!

Oh believe me I was very tempted too. However I am trying to get the wife on board with the idea of a cart first.

Always a good idea to get the "copilot" involved in the project !!

http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...ct-begins.html

My build went so smooth after she got to do all the "appearance" decisions.
(seat covers, paint color and stainless trim, etc..)
Turned out, her choices costs almost the same as my "performance" choices, so everything is mighty fine around the old hacienda !!!

And BTW, that Scottyb ROCKS !!!!!
