MCOR 4 conversion kit
I bought an MCOR 4 Conversion Kit online for 2007 Club Car. This was to replace model # 102101101. This didn't come with instructions so I attempted installation without. New one is on and now not working at all...just hear the buzz sound of it in Reverse but no movement. Forward or Reverse. Did I do something wrong or is the new MCOR a failed unit? or how can I test the new unit?

Re: MCOR 4 conversion kit
Can't be sure but it was likely chinese junk.
Buy from a site vendor and get parts that the seller stands behind. There are all kinds of horror stories of folks buying chinese junk solenoids, MCORs and voltage reducers that we bad right out of the box. This guy here is ALL you need! http://www.revolutiongolfcars.com/mcors (Says the guy that owns one "real" Gibson guitar, two Epiphone Les Paul's and three chinese knock offs...) |

Re: MCOR 4 conversion kit
Do you know if there is any way to test the device itself? I found some instructions AFTER installing the unit. The only thing I did wrong was NOT disconnect the battery/or put inTow mode. could that have screwed up something else?

Re: MCOR 4 conversion kit
The internal micro switch has probably failed in the aftermarket MCOR. It happens often with Chinese parts. Take the two pin connector loose from the MCOR and jump out the connector with a paperclip or a piece of wire. If the car acts normally with the jumper in place, the switch has failed. Order a factory one and you'll be much better off.
