Cart won't move
club car a9023210121 36 volt
This is my mothers cart and she and her granddaughter were riding over the weekend. They apparently had a loose connection and they melted a terminal off of the battery and burnt up a battery cable. I replaced the battery and the cable. Now the cart won't move. Any suggestions? Thank you!! |

Re: Cart won't move
Did it damage your solenoid when it fried the cables. I am assuming this is an old resistor type cart. Or does it have a controller?
Go here http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...-diagrams.html and look at posts 1 & 2. Your should be one of the two as you have a 1990 36 volt. |

Re: Cart won't move
I have the 88-03 electric club car wiring diagram with v-glide. I checked voltage across the 2big posts on solenoid and I have 37 volts. if you step on the gas pedal the voltage goes away. The only cable that I replaced was the one that was on the melted terminal. that tied the 2 batteries together.

Re: Cart won't move
Oops. Does it click when you press the pedal? Check the small terminals and see if you are getting 36 volts to them when you mash the Go pedal.

Re: Cart won't move
And that was with the pedal down and key switch on correct? If so, need to check the micro switch at the v-glide. You are missing a trigger to supply the 36 volts to the solenoid and without it, it will not close in. Probe it all and check to see where you are losing the power at. Be sure to reference the drawing.
