Re: 94 EZGO Electric - how to increase speed?
Now that you have more than sufficient amps available with the new controller you can put on some taller tires. That will get you a couple more mph.

What settings did you program your controller for, did you set it for max speed and what not? Just curious.

Re: 94 EZGO Electric - how to increase speed?
I ordered it from Buggies Unlimited so whatever setting they had in it or however it comes??? I am wondering if I need to figure out how to hook it up to the computer and check the settings but it didn't come with any cables or anything?

When the BU tech support shows up here in the morning, as he does nearly every morning, maybe he can tell us how the controller is programmed?

Re: 94 EZGO Electric - how to increase speed?
Hello all. New to the forum. I have a 99' EZ GO that I've been "working on". Meaning I've been taking it to the nearby golf cart shop to make upgrades to every now and then. I've got the look of it exactly how I wanted, but not the speed. It struggles to get up hills and maxes at about 13mph. The shop I work with tells me the only way to increase my speed is a new motor, but obviously I'm looking for a more economical fix.. How can I tell if my wiring is already 4gauge? Any ideas out there?
