Re: 2006 ez go pds quit working
Welcome to BGW!
If it has been lifted, it probably has oversized tires and if they are taller than 20", you're lucky the stock PDS controller lasted as long as it did. The PDS is a Fly-by-Wire system, so the controller does everything and the external switches and controls just tell it what you want it to do. Does the solenoid click when you push the pedal? If not, check the voltages on the wire highlighted in red on attached schematic. If you have pack voltage on all of them, the controller should apply B- to J1 Pin-7, closing solenoid. If it does click, connect your DVM between the controller's B- and M- terminals. You should read pack voltage when the pedal is pushed just far enough for solenoid to click. If it you don't, something is open in the high current circuit. If you do, slowly press pedal to floor. Voltage should decrease smoothly to near zero. If it doesn't, the controller or ITS is bad. Let us know what you find and we will proceed from there. --------- BTW: A PDS cart with a DCX400 controller and 200A solenoid is a nice combo. |

Albucknbass, JohnnieB has you all hooked up.......so with that, Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands, girlfirends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.
oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!! |
