Default 1999 DCS will not move after charging

THis is a new one on me so I thought I would see if anyone else has run into this problem. My cart will not move at all right after I charge it. Solenoid clicks but nothing else. Let it sit a while and it will run fine with no problems. It's only right after the charger cuts off that it will not move. Does the DCS have over-voltage shut down on the controller? Maybe that's killing it until the pack levels back out to where it should be?

Most all controller have minimum and maximum voltage limits. These are in place to protect the system. Your battery pack may be as high as 64v right at the end of the charging cycle and your controller limit may be 55v or such... this is normal, if you must go run the headlamps for 5 minutes & try again

I let it sit for about 30-40 minutes and checked pack voltage and it was at 39.5 and the cart still would not move in forward or reverse. Let it sit until this morning and it works perfectly again.

Get an aftermarket controller like programmable Alltrax and set upper limit to 60v = problem solved
