CC vs EZGO
Having rebuilt a CC 2 years ago (a 93 CC DS) and having just finished (almost) rebuilding the mechs and electronics on my PDS (an 02), I must admit, I am impressed with EZGOs. They seem much more technologically advanced, even tho there is 10 years between the 2 I have had in my hands.
My 93 CC had no regen, no throttle sensing, no speed sensing, a mechanical F&R switch, no computer, and really had only about 5 components in the electrical system. The EZGO seems much more advanced, even tho, I will admit there are 10 years difference between them. Any CC guys out there that agree/disagree? Just wondering...... |

Re: CC vs EZGO

Re: CC vs EZGO
Yeah, I know that 10 years (nine really) is a long time, technologically speaking, I don't know anything about an 03 CC DS, but it would be interesting to see how they have changed since then.....

Re: CC vs EZGO
When I saw "CC" I thought he was talking about "Canadian Club."
Which reminds me……. A baby seal waddles into a bar and hops up onto the barstool The baby seal says "Hey Barkeep, how about a drink" The barkeep answers "Sure, what do you want?" The baby seal thinks for a minuet, and says (Are you ready?) "Anything but a "Canadian Club." BADA----BING |

Go 20004 and you get a precedent.
Mid nineties saw the introduction of separately excited DC drive motors into the Golf Cart world. Every manufacture had a version of the toggle select drive system. There is still a lot to be said for simplicity and series drive carts. |
