Hey I have the same setup as you do. Just a FYI my center caps are starting to rust. Only had them since last Aug. I keep it indoors.

Maybe a clear coat or something could be applied I don't know.

The tires are holding your top speed down.

You were averaging about 18.5 MPH with stocks tire and controller and about 20.5 MPH after installing the 23" tires and getting the alignment straightened out. Mathematically, it should have gone to about 24.5 MPH.

With a DCX400, stock PDS motor and 18.3" tire at 36V, I was getting 24.0 MPH, so you ought to be getting about 30.1 MPH with 23" tires with a DCX500 and stock PDS motor at 36V.

What is the max inflation pressure stamped on the sidewall? (I suspect it is below 15 PSI)

Also, noisy tread patterns, reduce speed. (Energy is being converted into sound rather than speed)

20psi is what they say max and that's all I have in them. Also. Me and Scotty talked about turning it down to 400 amp. I need to hook up the cable and see what it's getting
