How to be sure if your ez go 1998 has the its system or not ? Every thing I read I don't think I have the right controller in my cart it has a Curtis. 4 buss bar controller in it

My 98 Series Curtis ITS had a four bus controller. The forth bus isn't necessary, as its used for slamming it into reverse while driving in forward (or vise-versa). More for a fork lift than a buggy.

Why are you asking? Does it work.

Yes it works but I'm wanting to change the controller so I can go to 48 volts.the controller I have is a Curtis 400 volt but only for 24 to 36 volts. Don't want

My series AXE 4855 only has three busses (big terminals) and has instructions on how to wire it up. Give ScottyB a call or drop him an email and he will set you up.
