New to me 07 PDS TXT . Need Help
I recently picked up a 2007 EZ Go PDS TXT cart. I think it is what they call the freedom series. The previous owner had unhooked the key switch. I do not know how to hook it back up. There are 4 blade style terminals on the back of the switch. It has a charge meter tied into it and there are two extra wires (blue with white stripes) I supposed go to the lights. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

But another question is why did they unhook it ? You may want to test it before you reinstall it to make sure it is good..

Re: New to me 07 PDS TXT . Need Help
On my cart with factory lights, the green wire from the fuse block goes to the positive post on the center rear battery. This is the positive connection for the 12v system for the lights and any other 12v accessories like a horn or whatever. The negative connection is a black wire connected to the battery next to it on the passenger side. This wire is part of the wiring harness. Thus the 2 batteries provide 12v to the harness. Previous owner/owners may have disconnected this wire to use a separate 12 battery or a voltage reducer.

Re: New to me 07 PDS TXT . Need Help
Here is an accessory wiring diagram, but like kernal said, it may have been disconnected so an accessory battery of voltage reducer could be used.
Tapping two batteries in the main battery pack for 12V, imbalances the pack and reduces battery lifespan, so most people power their 12V accessories from a completely separate 12V battery or attach a voltage reducer (IE: 36V to 12V Dc to DC converter) across the entire battery pack so all the batteries are drained equally when the accessories are used. |

That kinda what I was thinking on the green wire. When I said cut off I meant "CUT OFF" the guy I bought it from snatched the batteries out and took them to the junk Yard when they died. Now Im stock buying a set with out any cores to turn it.
