2002 CC no solenoid closure
S/N AA0241-212647 2002 CC no solenoid click no movement.
48 volts to solenoid control + terminal, jumped - side of control terminal to battery - and solenoid closes. Yellow wire appears to go to 3 pin plug going to obc. Owner told me obc is bad and he has to reset after charging batteries. I connected charger and could not get charger to start. What could interrupt neg. side of control? |

Ok I left the neg cable off battery pack, reason charger didn't work!
Buddies cart who is a disabled veteran and just had foot surgery needs cart working to get around neighborhood, any help will be appreciated by me and I'm sure by him also. No access to printer so I'm working with a cellphone. Thanks for any help! |

Re: 2002 CC no solenoid closure
Please does anyone know how the neg side of solenoid is completed? MCOR, micro switch, controller, obc? How do I troubleshoot?

Re: 2002 CC no solenoid closure
The OBC controls the negative side of the solenoid activation circuit. Check the small (3/8ths amp) in line fuse below the charge receptacle, it is in a yellow holder.... if the fuse is good likely the OBC is failed. Remove the OBC negative side wire on the solenoid and run a jump wire direct to control B- or battery pack main - ( same point really, just opposite ends of the same cable) and let us know if the cart runs for your friend.

May be you had no power to the controller"s control panel. Which drive system is this?

It's the first with knob that rotates and three micro switches.

Re: 2002 CC no solenoid closure
My first thought when I looked at a series controller diag was to check that you have battery voltage at J1 on the controller with the keysw on.

Re: 2002 CC no solenoid closure
If solenoid pulls in and yellow wire from + terminal on solenoid to J1 isn't broke, will not power be at J1?
It will be tomorrow before I can go check. |
