'96 g16 t.c.i.
Working on this cart. It starts and runs well, and is charging. The TCI plug is unplugged. Runs the same with it connected. The wiring looks to be non-molested, and all the components are in place.
So what's the deal with that? |

it kills the spark when the pedal is fully released. with the pulg undone, spark is present whenever the engine is spinning regardless of pedal pressed or not. the TCI is a standalone system, it needs nothing at all from the cart wiring, only for the flywheel to be spinning. the plug is a backup measure to kill spark when it is not needed or desired.
