Default blowen motor

just blew up my g16 engine just wanted to get some input plowmans can rebuild it for $1250 +shipping or i can buy a brand new factory motor for $1550 . plowmans says he replaces everything just reuses the case so would this include new ignition parts & cooling fan-flywheel

He replaces everything except coilpull yours out,ship it to him,get it back in,back to riding in no timeyou'll love it! Well worth it!

Or if your cases are intact why not fix it yourself. Once you get the primary clutch off it is pretty much like your average lawn mower engine inside. No big mysteries here. A side note here when my G14 started smoking I pulled it out and put in a VC 460 complete kit bought on Ebay for $800 and parted out my g14 engine there for $900.Last note here a Brand New vanguard with cam and rev kit assembled with all the swap parts is around $3000. And without the cam it runs pretty much like what it is a lawn tractor engine.P.S. If you use the vanguard a lift kit is required not so with the vegascarts kit.

When I first bought my G14 in 2008 it was a smoker.I got a ton of tech help over the phone from J&M engines in evans georgia.I see they do yamaha rebuild swaps for $600.

plowmans warned me about the cheep rebuilds he said they only do pistons & valves nothing in the bottom end & thats where mine went bad ate the teeth off the cam gear i was looking at the vega comversion but the ones i saw were $1400
