Default Lift for golf carts?

Not that kind of lift but rather a lift to get it off the ground so that it's higher and thus easier to work on. Anyone use one or have any ideas on what would work?

I just use a floor jack and some jack stands, I guess a floor lift would be best but expensive

Oh yeah they make lifts for lawnmowers and atv. With rwd cars I would jack the front and put on stands, then jack on the rear pig and the whole car would be up then. Use stands in the rear if going under it or leaving it for a while. But it worked great for doing brakes and such.

Harbor freight has 3 of them for $99 but they only lift the front of a mower or atv. They have ones you drive on and lift the whole thing, like a big table.

Oh just working on it in general. Doing the crank seals with it on the ground was such a pain in the *** that I took motor out.

I hear you. G1's, driver side easy (remove tank, clutch, primary sheave (with the right tool) and oil pump gear drive, change the seal and your done. Passenger side, 2 times that.

Yeah, I can have the clone out of my G9 in maybe 15 min so its not worth working on it in there. Can take a few minute to get the belt aligned when it goes back in though. You look at it and say I'm not pulling the engine.....but really its easy with most carts/lawn stuff.

I just used a deer sling or pulley to lift up the front or rear of the cart. As long as the rafters can support the weight.

I use an Air Pallet Lift, but a Motorcycle lift can be widened to fit carts too.
