Default G22 air box

I just pick up a 05 g22,I have put plowmans performance jet and air filter in .Do I need to drill holes on air box and drill out cone,I will be driving down dusty trails,I am worried about dirt getting suck in. Any help would be appreciated.

Don should have included a printed instruction sheet with the performance kit. It details how many and where you drill holes to modify the stock airbox. If you follow those directions exactly, you will allow more air to enter the airbox, but the extra air does not bypass the air filter element, so you should not have an increased danger from dusty air, any more than you would with the stock configuration. But one thing you will notice is that the extra holes give the engine a "throatier" sound and will increase the noise from the engine slightly. If you have specific questions or are unsure, give Don a call, and he'll talk you through it.

Thank you sandbaggeryYDRA.I bought this kit from someone at campground that never used it and they can't find the paper work. I will give Don a call, thank you again.
