KF82 cranking backwards
hi everyone; i have a KF82 engine and its cranking backwards. when i 1st got it it ran but the starter generator burnt up , so i bought a new 1 and now it cranks where the exhaust is coming out the breather. can someone tell me what i did wrong ?

The starter generators are bi-directional and will turn either way. You have to match the wiring exactly from the old one to the new one to make sure they turn the same direction when installed.
Yours should be wired similar to this diagram. |

I had the same issue when I swapped one from a different cart. I just swapped wires A1 & A2 and it turned from counterclockwise to clockwise. (recommendation from a BGW forum)
