Really nice looking job with the TIG and appears to be well thought out.

Haha! That's funny! Typing on the computer to a forum at 2:45 AM after partying all night's a little dangerous! I know, I've done it too!! But, you did well on your last post! You didn't mumble to much!!!

Re: Flip Flop seat for G9 pics
We all like to see pictures. I haven't read anywhere that there are too many pics on a build, and I've been cruising all over this site trying to arm myself with new info. By the way, that thing is awesome! I'm jealous too.

Re: Flip Flop seat for G9 pics
Thanks again for the kind words. I used to hate to weld aluminum, but after I got an inverter welder welding aluminum is kinda fun. They have so many adjustments that really help. For those that know about welding aluminum, inverters us 2% tungston with a sharp point, not pure with a ball on the end. You can really pin point your heat.
I cut down the old seat to size and having a hard time getting the old cover back on without wrinkles. I will put another cover over it anyway, but I thought it would be good practice to put this one back on. It's not that easy. |
