77 e-z-go gas question
Hello all! I have just acquired my first golf car, a 1977 ez go 3wheel. I've done some checking around and this forum seemed to be the best one to join! My cart runs and drives awesome. My question is when I let off the gas pedal to let it die, when the engine slows down it seems really noisy. Almost sounds like a rattle scraping sound? Even does it a little at slow speeds but goes away with speed. Other than that it runs great. Thanks for the great forum and look forward to hanging out here!

Re: 77 e-z-go gas question
Noise probably coming from the drive clutch assembly?

Re: 77 e-z-go gas question
Alright so I took a gander at the primary clutch. If I grab the outside of it and wiggle it I get some play. Is there rebuild options or what year clutches would work from other carts? Thanks.
