crank shaft bearings
I have a 89 ezgo with a 3pg motor. Upon taking it apart to replace the crankshaft seals I noticed the 2 bearings on the clutch side have no cages in them. I tried to move the balls inside them around with a screwdriver but they seem to stay together and stay to one side of the bearing...is this normal? Both bearings do this. They are tight inside their races.... so when i reassemble the motor do i just keep them on opposite sides of the crank? Any help would be appreciated!

Re: crank shaft bearings
This is what your bearing should look like. I have 2 part numbers.
24504-G1 or 6206 non sealed for constant lubrication. There is a cage in there. |

Re: crank shaft bearings
These have no cage.....and there's no indication there ever was one in either bearing...no particles etc!!!
