Reviewing a datalog being recorded when the malfunction occurs or lifting the seat and looking at the LED for error codes will probably point to the problem or at least point us in the right direction.

Battery under-voltage cut off.

Just saw in the manual that means battery under voltage. Should I lower the under voltage minimum? Currently set at 28 with an over set at 62

Why would that be happening? Brand new set of batteries, soc meter seems to show normal running numbers, no corrosion anywhere, no excessive heat anywhere

You can try setting it at 20v. That should stop the error from disabling the cart. But it does not address the power supply issue.

I would really like to fix the issue, but don’t really know where to start. All components have been replaced from charger, to batteries, cables, controller, solenoid, motor. All testing has returned good numbers, no obvious heat, corrosion or shorts. Most all components have been purchased through carts unlimited. Got my t-105’s locally, charged by the dpi 42v whenever not in use.

The voltage the controller is seeing between the B- and B+ terminals is recorded in the data log.
It is the B- to B+ at the XCT's terminals dropping below the Under Voltage set point that is triggering the Battery Under Voltage error, so seeing a data log will likely tell us if it is a valid error (issues with the high current cables/contacts/connections) or false error (controller issue).

Either the full pack voltage isn't getting to the controller, or the controller isn't sensing it correctly.

FWIW: I'm running at 42V and have the battery under voltage slider set to 31.9V (1.5VPC) and have never had a under volt error.

Today I had the day off, and took a quick ride with my wife for a few miles through the normal beach neighborhoods, 20-25mph with stop signs every so-often, and I thought I heard a little clicking coming from the engine or rear end. Stopped and checked things out and noticed the metal grinding smell.

Stopped running the cart and pulled off into a nearby parking spot. Seems like I’ve got a burnt up motor. No indication as to why.

Motor is a year and a half old. D&d es 76-51. Motor casing didn’t feel very hot, didn’t over rev. I am at a loss for words....[emoji31][emoji24]
