Default trailering questions

I would like to be able to trailer my Golf Cart on Motorcycle at the same time. The cart is 9' from the front of the tides to the back on the rear step and about 4'6" wide.

My motorcycle is 8' front to back and 3'6" wide handle bar to handle bar and Crash bar to crash bar. It's a 1998 Honda Shadow Ace.

Don't want an enclosed trailer, would like a 5X12 OR 6X12 if they will fit. Anyone else haul one of at the same time ?

Thanks ivel ! ! !

With the dimensions you have and the trailer dimensions there is no way it works. If the trailer was 8' wide and you could turn the bike sideways or it could fit with the cart all the way over to one side.

If you put your motorcycle at an angle on the 6' wide trailer it would take 5.29' of the length of your trailer (a squared + b squared = c squared). If your golf cart is 9' long then you'll need a minimum of 15', likely more as you'll want tie down points and a gap between bike and cart.

Last option is to back the bike onto the trailer... This is a longshot... If the trailer is 6' wide and the cart is 4.5' wide it depends on how wide the back part of the motorcycle is. It'd probably be too wide still, but if most of the rear of your motorcycle is 17 inches or less wide, then you could squeeze that beside the cart by backing in. Leaving the wider (front) part of the motorcycle towards the rear of the trailer that is unoccupied by the cart.

I don't think that would work as I think you'll find there's less room available than you think. The bike may be too wide in places or the bed of the trailer may be less than the full six feet.

I traded my motorcycle for a golf cart/best decision ever.

This is 6'x12' but I don't think they'd fit without rubbing & room to strap. Is a 7'x14' out of the question?

I don't think you can get a trailer with 8' width of usable space.

Snomobile trailers are actually 8'6" of use able space. You can get them as long as you can afford.
