Re: Txt problems? Need advice
Okay I just swapped out cylinoid xan diodes between carts and it appears both solenoids are good. Now I am getting 38 volts in and 38 volts out of the solenoid but when I push the pedal the solenoid clicks I have no power at all at M-

Re: Txt problems? Need advice
You have 38V at the controller side of the solenoid, so check for 38V at the controller's B+ terminal.
If you have it there, check for 38V on the voltage on the A stud on the F/R switch. Then the D stud on F/R Then the S2 stud on motor Then the S1 stud on motor Then the C stud on F/R Then the B stud on F/R Then the A2 stud on motor Then the A1 stud on motor Then the M- stud on controller. Then check for voltage on the B- stud on controller. Personally, I check this one first. |

Re: Txt problems? Need advice
So here's where I'm at now. Speed controller is good solenoid is good, battery pack voltage is at 38 volts.
I have checked all my wires and connections and everything seems to be good. Key on I press the pedal in the solenoid clicks. I have 38 volts in and out of the solenoid and 38 volts at the bottom of the f&r switch. M- has no voltage at all |

Re: Txt problems? Need advice
Should have voltage on all 4 studs in either F or R.
You have voltage on A in both F and R, so there is a bad contact on the cam that moves. Take the F/R apart and you'll probably be able to see which one. It will likely be burnt or melted. Be sure to mark the position (edges) of the mounting bracket where it is bolted to cart. That'll make getting the mechanical adjustment of the replacement F/R correct much easier. |
