Default Back up light off reverse buzzer

I have a 96 TXT 36v cart. I am looking to wire a 12v LED light to the reverse switch or buzzer. Can anyone help with instructions or a link to a website or youtube video? Thank you

The voltage on reverse switch and buzzer is 36V, so you'll have to use a relay to switch 12V from somewhere or find a LED fixture that will handle 36V.

Just to be sure... This application would require a 36v (or 48V for 48V carts) relay and not the standard automotive 12v relay? For example something described as: RELAY 30A FOR 36V LESTER CHARGERS, POTTER & BRUMFIELD, GOLF CARTS, FORKLIFTS?

Maybe. Could be a PC Board mount, which will make it tricky to use as a stand alone unit.

I'd use a panel mount relay with a coil voltage the same as whatever the battery pack voltage is and contacts rated at twice the amp draw of whatever it was running. A LED light fixture probably doesn't need a 30A relay, but it would do the job.
