Default Got HD rear leafs, but less leafs than stock...should I exchange?

Working on a 1992 Western 400 2+2 (Marathon chassis) and ordered some HD leafs from RHOX.

Just took out one of the old ones, and they have 5 leaves.
The new HD parts only have 4 leaves. Is this common for HD replacements, or should I send these back and look at a different set?

I just looked at EZ-GO's website, and their rear HD leafs (if the pic is accurate) shows 5 leaves:
https://shop.ezgo.com/products/Rear-...roduct_id=3173

So, it appears aftermarket HD are 4 leaf, and EZ-GO brand are 5 leaf (again, if pic is accurate).

Any recommendations?
I don't want to install these, if it would be better to pay a little more and get the factory HD ones with 5 leaves.

Thanks!
D

although there is a difference in the number of leafs.....is the overall thickness the same? that would be my question. fore if they were the same thickness....the set with 4, each leaf would be thicker, and most likely stiffer. and thus MAY support more weight. just something to think about IF you had answers to those questions.

The number of leafs has nothing to do with SPRING RATE!

ie one spring can be stiffer then 4 stacked!

Thanks for the info.
I'm fine with 4 leafs, as long as it's as supportive as I need, but would like to know if the 5 leaf part would be more forgiving under normal driving conditions.

I don't think you will notice a difference? But your correct in you thinking.

stacked springs are designed for a better ride and as you add weight you use more of the lower springs.
