4 leaf springs?
I bought my cart used a few months ago. I noticed it sits about an inch lower on the drivers side so I was going to get some HD leaf springs. I looked under the cart today and saw that my springs have 4 leafs?
Does a stock 2006 TXT have 2 leafs? |

Re: 4 leaf springs?
Typically a stock cart has 2 leafs ....... it appears that your cart has HD springs but look pretty flat.
ALSO, there are different types of HD springs. There are 3 leaf and 4 leaf (like the ones you have)...it has to do with the actual spring rates of the springs. |

Re: 4 leaf springs?
Sitting an inch lower on the drivers side seems pretty common, more consistent weight there. You might try swapping springs between sides and see if that levels things out.

Re: 4 leaf springs?
I replaced both springs on my 2007 txt with stock springs. No help. I finally just cut 2 new plates for the back driver side, about 3/4" longer. It fixed the problem, all is level and is hardly noticed.

Re: 4 leaf springs?
Pretty sure he made new metal pieces with holes drilled 3/4 inch further apart.

Re: 4 leaf springs?
Sorry guys I did make longer shackles. By the way you don't need to take wheel off to do it.
Just take tension off with a jack and blocks if needed. Jacked up left side till the bolt would come out easily on bottom. Then remove top. Put bolt through new top shackles. Jack up till bottom lines up and finish. Remember keep wheel on. Sent from my SM-T820 using Tapatalk |
