Wiring rcoker switches
Any suggestions on wiring rocker switches? I have a voltage reducer and in my previous cart ran my underbelly lights as well as LED headlight/taillight/horn kit off of it. On my new build I want to run a little more, sound bar, radio, underbelly lights and some other accessories. Anyone use a fused power block and/or relays? Lets see your setup!

Re: Wiring rcoker switches
I went with lighted push button switches, but rockers would be the same. I’m running switches for the reducer itself, headlights, stereo and dome light. The relay for the reducer is above the fuse block in that pic. Those other relays are for the 12v accessories. I don’t think you necessarily need relays with the right rockers. The switches I used were pricey, but weak, and I wasn’t confident that I wouldn’t burn them out, so I went ahead with the relays.

In the cart I built last fall, I did a similar set up as Orangeman, but used rockers switches.

Nuke, I followed that build you did (was it for your nephew?) but didn’t remember that panel/switch setup. That looks awesome.
OP, follow what Sir Nuke did. He’ll get you set up. |

Re: Wiring rcoker switches
YEP that was my nephews cart I built him.....
YEP I found that switch set up at WIRING PRODUCTS .COM and they have available 2, 3, 4, and 5 switch plates with different switches AND you tell them what to call each switch....it was pretty neat and wasn't very expensive at all...especially considering a custom switch plate. |

That looks great! Where did you get the rear plastic panel you placed over the radio cut out? |

Awesome! Thank you. What did you use to cut it? What type of screws / caps are those? Did you have to request the color LED switches? On their site its only one color. |

on their sight, you need to select "Toggle Switch Panel LED Illuminated" and within there you can pick the color you want EACH switch (Red, Green, Amber, or Blue) http://www.wiringproducts.com/led-toggle-switch-panels |
