'92 Marathon batteries not lasting
Hello. I use my cart at the golf course and the last two rounds it has died towards the end. The batteries came with the cart and are 2 and half years old. I took them to an Interstate dealer expecting to replace them all, but they tested them and the guy said they were testing as well as their new ones.
I am not sure what is causing the cart to die so quickly. The only thing I can think of, but I doubt it, is the battery meter reader thing never worked before and all of sudden started working around the time I have been having issues. It always reads the same levels regardless if it is fully charged or about to die. I don't have any other accessories running off the batteries. Is there anything else that could drawing from them? Also, I always check the water levels and that is fine. Thanks and I am not incredibly mechanical so please bare with me. |
