Early RXV models, what to replace?

I am about to get a great deal on an early model RXV 08' or 09. I probably will fix it and sell it.

I have worked with the 2012.5 and later RXV's and have really good luck. However, I know there were issues with the early models of the RXV which I usually avoid unless I get a great deal like this one.

Were the main issues with the early cart? The controller or motor brake or both?

To make the cart reliable before I sell, should I upgrade the controller or brake of both?

I'd do motor brake , and main solenoid if it's still the tiny one (can be identified by not having terminals to the small wires, hardwired into harness).

Do you have a particular motor brake to recommend? Are there any good aftermarket ones?

Otherwise just wait until when/if the Danaher controller fails to worry about replacing it?
