You're right... going from 23" tires to 20" tires should have increased torque, off of the line. Top end would drop, if the motor was hitting an RPM limit in the controller. But at lower RPM, torque should increase. Smaller tires will help a cart to climb an incline, as it puts less torque loading on the motor.

Do yourself a favor ---- look into a RXV with 6x8v battery pack.
good speed -- good hill climbing performance overall good cart. |
