Re: Wanting more speed
There are numerous different thing you can do to get more speed. to better understand what you need to do, is to define "to go faster"....the real question is "HOW FAST DO YOU WANT TO GO"??

Re: Wanting more speed
Start by identifying the drive system type. Ezgo made 2 drives with the lever by the seat. Then go here and read about upgrade options and results > http://www.cartsunlimited.net/upgrade-suggestions.html

Re: Wanting more speed
If you want to add a 7th battery for 42V total, I have a nice charger for sale in the “For Sale” section

Re: Wanting more speed
Voltage is key when getting up to those speeds! I have almost the same cart and I am planning the conversion to 60v lithium. Requires upgrades to controller, motor, F/R, solenoid but I’m ready for the jump!!
Hit me up if you want to download all brain damage I have gone through researching it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

For you to achieve those speeds, you will basically end up replacing your drive system AND making the jump to 48v. as you can see in my sig.....all that I have done to mine, and it tops out at 30 mph. You will end up having to replace the controller, solenoid, F&R switch, upgrading all your cables to 4 ga. min.(2 ga. recommended) and a high speed motor. PLUS upgrading to 48v with either a 6-8v or a 8-6v set of batteries. It won't be cheap to do it right......as the sign in the speed says... "SPEED COST MONEY HOW FAST DO YOU WANT TO GO!!" |
