Default 36v to 48v pre-summer project begins

Well, the other day I found out that one of my batteries had gone bad. Instead of just buying new batteries I am taking this opportunity to jump up to 48 volts. I ordered the controller, solenoid, reversing contractors, and all get the batteries this weekend. I have been reading through all the posts I could find and all the paperwork I have from the components, so I feel I am good to go. And a big thanks to ScottyB for his information.
Let the fun begin.

That’s some boxes of fun there. Take some pics and post as you go.

So getting ready to tear into the project and my first question is about the ITS (circled). Will I need it with the new components?

What you have circled is the controller and solenoid, the ITS is the Inductive Throttle Sensor located in a box under the floor by the go pedal. All the stuff you have circled will be replaced with your new components.

Yeah, I actually meant the small ITS box. I have seen other builds and I didn't see it I have a new solenoid and controller. Just didn't know if I needed to keep the ITS box.

Thanks.

Thanks.
The small box is an ITS Converter for the FSIP controller.

The FSIP controller you have has a 3-wire 5K pot throttle input. (CC V-Glide) and the converter is need to work with the EZGO ITS type throttle the cart has.

One of the Alltrax throttle input options is EZGO ITS, so the converter box is not needed.

So I have the SW202 reversing contactor and I see that on the directions a code is installed on the tabs. Does one go on both sides?

Do you mean diode rather than code?

If so, there are two relays in the reversing contactor, each relay has a coil and each coil has a diode. However, there might be four tabs per relay coil and one diode goes between the top and bottom set.
