1981 EZGO Leaf Spring Question. What is the name of this part?
Hi, I am rebuilding rear suspension on 1981 EZGO three wheeler. I have all parts in hand except one, and I cannot find it anywhere. I searched the forum before I posted this, and didn't find anything.
I found the diagram elsewhere online, but not much help, except for the clue of Spring Retainer Bracket Assembly to which the bolt and tube attach. Does anyone know the proper name for the rod, tube and bushings so I can find and perhaps buy them? It's a double threaded rod in a tube that connects to a bracket mounted to the top of each leaf spring, then the top of the rod connects to a mount on the body. Thanks very much in advance! leaf spring.JPG |

Page 16 on attached parts manual.
Appears to be associated with a stabilizer bar that I don't see in the picture you posted. BTW: a 3-wheeler is a X-440 |

Thank you! Yes, that makes sense. Couldn’t figure it out bc no stabilizer bar. Thanks also for the x440 info, thought maybe, but wasn’t sure.
